Description
I watched this fly spend 15 minutes eating a smaller creature - periodically twitching as it went about its task. I believe the fly is from the Anthomyiidae family. It was perched on a thick blade of grass that had been beaten down by the previous night's rain while the nearby flowers could be seen refracted in the water drops.
